A message from Daniel Del Vecchio, Superintendent, Camden County Educational Services Commission:
In partnership with Camden County College, I am very excited to announce a high school College and Career Event for high school students and parents. Students will have an opportunity to investigate options for college, employment, or the military. Parents are encouraged to attend so they can get expert advice on navigating the complexities of college admissions, financial aid (FAFSA), etc. There may also be employment opportunities for parents from participating vendors.
Two very special guests from Camden County will be in attendance. Ms. Valerie Still is from Camden, NJ, and Mr. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is from Somerdale, NJ. From humble beginnings in South Jersey, Valerie and Michael are University of Kentucky Basketball All Americans who continued their careers in the WNBA and NBA. Now, both are dedicated to supporting initiatives that improve the lives of young men and women.
Registration is required and space is limited so do not wait to make a reservation. Please share this with all those with a need to know in your organization and post on all social media outlets.
