This week was Inclusive Schools Week which celebrates the progress of schools in educating an increasingly diverse student population and acknowledges the hard work of schools, families, and communities in creating inclusive opportunities for all children. At Zane North our students and staff participated in activities together which incorporated the themes of disabilities, differences, friendships, empathy, and inclusion.

Our Zane North STAR program recognizes students and staff who exemplify characteristics that are key to helping our school thrive: Safety, Teamwork, Acceptance & Inclusion, and Reaching for the Stars (making an extra special effort on classroom academics). Pictured are this week's STAR award recipients!

Great job by guest readers Ryker and Tyler!
