STUDENTS AND PARENTS
This summer, NJ will send $120 in Summer EBT benefits per eligible child to help lower income families buy food at participating retailers. Your child must be eligible for free school lunch to get Summer EBT. Receiving benefits will not affect children or families’ immigration status. Don’t miss out on this valuable benefit. If you haven’t already, submit a school meal application by April 19th, 2024 and contact your child’s school to make sure your mailing address is correct.

Important Information Regarding Lunch Applications for the 2023-2024 School Year:
There is a 30 day lunch status carry over period. This means that if you applied last year, your 23-24 lunch status will carry over until October 21, 2024. You MUST complete a new lunch application on or before October 21, 2024. If not, your child(ren)’s lunch status will be determined as Full Price.
The Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals is used to determine eligibility for P-EBT benefits, state funding, and additional district wide benefits.
We understand that each family's financial circumstances may differ, and we want to assure you that all information provided in the application is treated confidentially and used solely for determining eligibility. We strongly encourage you to complete the application, regardless of whether you think your child qualifies for free or reduced-price meals. Your participation directly influences our funding eligibility and allows us to serve the diverse needs of all our students effectively.
Please utilize the Genesis Parent Portal to complete the Free/Reduced Meal Application. The portal provides a user-friendly interface that simplifies the application process, making it quick and convenient for you to submit your information securely.
If you have any questions or require assistance with the application process, our dedicated support team is ready to assist you. Please feel free to contact Adrienne Stanbach at astanbach@collsk12.org or 856-962-5702 ext: 9009 for further guidance.
